It’s been so hard to make it back to this site. I even forgot my password! I’m dipping my toe back into writing again, mostly in journal form, scribblings on a page.

But it’s something. A beginning.

Since my last post (in 2022!) so much has changed. The biggest of all was I lost my dad. My faith tells me he has been joyfully reconnected with my mom and brother and other lost relatives. My heart tells me a different story. Loss is part of life.

Today I am here. A different version of myself from 2022 but that’s ok. We’re always shifting, growing, retracting, evolving, moving into an uncertain future. Because of that we have to be sure to know who we are so that we can adapt and be at peace with whatever happens. And that is one thing I do have. Mostly.

I’ve missed it here. Optimistically, I will say, it’s good to be back.
